The ARIETE anti-panic system, designed and built by SESAMO , allows for the break-out opening of the doors of an automatic sliding entrance. It is possible to choose between a partial breakout system and a total breakout system. The first is designed to allow only the moving part (sliding door / s) of the automatic entrance to be broken through in case of need; the second is designed to ensure, in the event of the sliding doors breaking down, also the release of the “semi-fixed” doors, helping to increase the width of the space intended for escape, facilitating the clearing of the room in an emergency. The ARIETE panic exit device is designed to meet the necessary safety requirements whenever the entrance is used as an escape route in the event of a fire or other calamities that may hit the building. The system essentially consists of two high-strength aluminum alloy profiles that support the sliding door and of details which, applied to the window frame, allow the door, by applying a suitable force, to release from the upper profile and to rotate in the opening direction in order to completely free the escape route. The sliding guides are housed under the sliding doors, along their run and are made in such a way as to minimize the vertical encumbrance by limiting the risk of stumbling as much as possible during the emergency evacuation phase of the room. If the break-out system is activated during the operation of the system, the automatic control unit automatically records the event and moves the leaves to the fully open position in order to facilitate the opening of the escape route as much as possible. The ARIETE breakout system has been tested and equipped with the relative test certificate issued by the Ministry of the Interior. ARIETE is designed to adapt to all the most common commercial profiles: a chamber inside the upright of at least 29×29 mm is required and the possibility of obtaining a distance between the center of the rotation shaft and the tail of the upright of 23.5 mm.
